These elegant bronze sculptures are created by the Burkinabe artist Sor. Working with bronze is a traditional craft in Burkina Faso. The bronze comes from recycling old fittings, such as taps or parts from air conditioning systems. The artist first creates a wax model, which is covered with a sand mixture of clay and manure and dried. The mould is then fired, and the wax
