Lupé-Cholet Comtesse de Lupé Bourgogne Chardonnay 2020 Louis Roederer Collection 245 Champagne consisting of 86% tempranillo andComtesse de Lup Blanc is created from grapes grown in the clay and lime rich soil of southern Burgundy. To preserve the wine's purity and fruity character, fermentation takes place in steel tanks. 90% of the wine is matured 'sur lie' in steel tanks, while the remaining 10% is briefly aged in used oak barrels to add extra complexity. The wine presents itself with a light, golden hue and a fresh aroma of citrus fruits, white peaches and green apples.
