The grapes for this outstanding Kabinett come from the world famous Ockfener Bockstein vineyard. This bowl shaped vineyard, nestled in a side valley of the Saar, encircles the village like an amphitheater like band. The barren gray slate soil with a high quartz content, together with the microclimate, creates a unique terroir.
