In the New Objectivity style, Wersin designed the Adonis shape for Nymphenburg, which is still one of the manufactory's most beautiful today. The light refracts in the fine grooved relief of the surface and makes the shards appear almost transparent in the play of shadows. The reduced painting emphasises the
