The renowned American designer has been fascinated by these majestic creatures since childhood

Muschellöffel Dose Elefanten gelten als weiseThis delicately curved spoon by US designer Ted Muehling shows that a spoon can look completely different. Glazed on the inside and matt bisque on the outside, the puristic shape of this eleven centimetre mussel spoon underlines the delicacy of the multifaceted material. And if you have concerns about use, you can rest assured: It's a bit like slurping oysters.
