The upper part consists of chains of cut octagonal crystals, the central band supports eight curved arms, each complete with a lamp holder decorated with drop shaped cut crystal pendants. The lower part is adorned with a cascade of large cut crystal spikes, each 13 cm (5. 12 inches) tall, which amplifies the refraction of light. The chandelier was
