Maranges Premier Cru Clos Roussots 2023 Domaine des Rouges Queues Sauro Maule - Azienda Agricola Il Cavallino with spontaneous fermentation and longPinot Noir grown in the hills of Maranges, south east exposure at about 300 meters above sea level for this famous Premier Cru, from a vineyard planted in 1990. The soil is worked only by using draft horses. The complex nose expresses notes of red fruits (cherry, raspberry), cedar, tobacco, spices and mint. The palate is structured, soft and concentrated. The tannins ask to blend with elegance and smoothness. Excellent.
