Discovered in 2003 in the Las Hoyas Formation in Cuenca, this dinosaur stands out for its unique characteristics that differentiate it from other carcharodontosaurids, as well as for the excellent state of preservation of its fossil, one of the most complete of a European theropod dinosaur.
