Chiara Boschis (Pira), Barolo Cannubi Vintage:2004 the 2010 Chateauneuf du PapeDeep, bright ruby red. Sweet, spicy aromas of redcurrant and plum. Still rather closed in the mouth following the recent bottling, but the plummy fruit and spicy wood appear to be nicely integrated, with the result that the wine is not at all overly oaky.
