Description

This is a relatively robust Chambolle villages

This is seriously impressive and is a wine that should age for decades and about the only nit is that the 2009 version is perhaps slightly less refined than other recent vintages

melon and passion fruit

Against a background in vintage 2009 of wines that fermented rapidly for most growers

tension and stimulating salinity

Antoine Jobard, Puligny Montrachet Trezin Vintage:2015 This is a relatively robust(from a . 17 ha parcel of 70+ year old vines). A different aromatic profile presents itself in the form of acacia blossom, essence of pear, lemongrass and a hint of spice. The rounder yet still quite energetic and detailed flavors exude a more subtle bead of minerality on the sappy and sneaky long finale. The old vines are in evidence and while this will need to develop a bit more depth, the potential very much appears to be present.
