It's comprised of vertical slats that resemble the exterior wood panels that are pounded together to form the enclosure of a wooden barrel. There are 2 horizontal bands (one on top and one on the bottom) that resemble the steel bands that hold the wooden pieces together. The barrel light is a sculptural piece that
