It has already started developing some tertiary notes and shows some graphite and wet slate notes

which is a bit more forward and oxidative than it usually is

There is good balance and I like the fine-grained tannins but the finish lacks a bit of depth

There is both fine richness and volume to the solidly concentrated and intensely mineral driven middle weight flavors that conclude in a youthfully austere, balanced and sleek finale. This is an excellent Meursault villages though note that its one that is going to need at least a few years of keeping as its pretty tightly wound at present.
