Peppery and meaty notes combine with ripe cherries and cassis on the nose of the 2017 Hermitage
but it will be worth cellaring
(from a 2-ha parcel with a mix of 80% 75+ year old vines and the remainder of 15 to 20-year-old vines)

full-bodied and velvety flavors that also have an inherent exoticism
Louis Michel, Chablis Forets Vintage:2019 Peppery and meaty notes combineHere too there is a hint of volatile acidity that is no more than a background element to the citrusy aromas of algae, apple and shellfish. There is fine volume to the delicious, lemony and succulent medium weight flavors that flash good minerality on the clean, dry and relatively powerful finish that exhibits just a touch of rusticity. This also needs to develop more depth so I would suggest giving it 2 to 3 years of bottle aging first.
