Narrow Axed Chopper Motorcycle Gas Tank 1.9 gallon Vendor_Cooper Smithing Co. Two sizes: 1-inch and 7/8-inchThis narrowed version of the classic Axed chopper gas tank holds 1. 9 gallons of gas. Narrower (as the name implies) than the standard Axed gas tank, it sits up pretty high on your frame's backbone. Axed tanks came about in the 1970's, styled after custom gas tanks some motorcycle enthusiasts made for their Harley Davidson choppers by cutting up stock H D split gas tanks and welding the halves together, end up with a similar shape to the Axed Tank.
