Description
Plus this wine always ages well and the 2019 version should be no exception
I have also tasted several other examples that have shown similarly if not quite as fresh while meriting scores of between 93 and 94 points
Generous if not actually dominant wood influence is present on the red and dark currant
or had their crops sold off to be unceremoniously blended into white Zinfandel
cassis and plum that exhibit interesting wisps of leather and smoke
Bernard Moreau, Chassagne Montrachet Clos Saint Jean Vintage:2019 Plus this wine always agesA more reticent nose timidly offers up note of resin, rosemary oil, grapefruit and poached pear. The medium bodied flavors offer a step up in intensity and mid palate density while exhibiting just a bit better depth and persistence on the lingering finish. This has an interesting texture that is almost oily yet there is very good energy.
