Description
The 2015 Domaine de Chevalier has a perfumed
with silky tannins and a racy finish
and because Dal Forno skipped over the 2014 vintage
Roederer's 2011 Blanc de Blancs is showing brilliantly and no doubt reflects Lecaillon's decision to be extremely selective
the Relic proved an Australian perspective more than relevant
Chapoutier, Hermitage Sizeranne Vintage:2017 The 2015 Domaine de ChevalierMid deep garnet. Grilled meat, oxidative tones to blackberry fruit, with crushed rock minerality and truffle development. Touch of cooked tomato feels like a cool vintage nose. Fine, but firm tannins are still fully in command of the palate. Brisk acidity and drying raspberry fruit. Meaty and flinty, with a very savoury, long finish. Still not ready. (TJ)
