Substance dazzles in this release

As with most of the single-vineyard wines from the vintage

There is excellent punch

The wood aging lends dryness to the tannins now

pear and wet stone where the latter element continues onto the rich

Gerard Raphet, Chambolle Musigny other_regions_italy Substance dazzles in this release(from Les Bussires; note that this wine in some markets is labeled as such). Ripe aromas combine moderately high toned notes of red currant, raspberry and even a wisp of cranberry with those of exotic tea, spice and a hint of violet. The rich, caressing and very round middle weight flavors conclude in a firm and lingering if mildly edgy finish. This is really quite pretty though the balance isnt completely dialed in.
