Subsequent awards are denoted by adding a bar to the ribbon

not necessarily continuous

Each medal is British made in the same factories that produced the originals during WWII

South Atlantic Miniature Medal with Rosette General Service This medal is supplied withoutThe South Atlantic Medal; awarded with distinguishing rosette for 1 days service in the Falkland Islands or their dependencies or in the South Atlantic, south of 35 degrees South and north of 60 degrees South, or for 1 operational sortie south of Ascension Island, between 2nd April and 14th June 1982.
