yet the Pajana remains a bit of a brute

chiseled and built to age finish

The 2000 was roaring from the glass when I tasted it in the estates Cote Rotie cellars

this is another wine that will require long-term ageing

Fratelli Alessandria, Barolo Gramolere Vintage:2021 Medium bodied with some drynessMedium red. Distinctly cooler on the nose than the San Lorenzo di Verduna, offering scents of cherry and musky underbrush. Then sweeter and more concentrated in the mouth, but still with a coolish, savory character to the red fruit and balsamic flavors. Finishes with serious tannins that turn a bit dry with air.
