This beauty will need at least a few years of keeping first and should amply reward 10 to 12

The 2010 wines may ultimately taste better further down the road

mocha and floral pastille flavors that slowly become spicier and more lively as the wine opens up

I’m less certain that this will come together though to be clear

Michel Lafarge, Meursault Blanc Size:6x750ml elegant and admirably pure nose(from Vignes Blanches, Cargouillot and En Marcausse, all of which are near the Volnay border). There is a smoky component to the ripe aromas of citrus confit, hazelnut and acacia blossom. The succulent but solidly intense medium weight flavors also possess fine concentration and volume before concluding in an attractively textured, sappy and sneaky long finale. Lovely.
